JOHN CHAPMAN

John is a Life Member and current President of the Orewa Surf Lifesaving Club. He has 30 years commercial banking experience with background in a wide range of property development projects.

John is leading the Orewa Surf Lifesaving Community Hub Fundraising Appeal and can be reached on 021 708 818.

ZANE TAYLOR

Zane is a long term Orewa Beach resident, passionate club member and former Building Project Committee Chairperson. With a private sector sales and marketing background, he also has a working knowledge of Local Government, firstly as an elected member of Rodney District Council, where he was Chairperson of Strategy and Community, and an RMA Commissioner.

He is qualified and experienced in Regional and Local Economic Development, with further qualifications in Inbound Tourism operations and marketing. He worked as an E.D. practitioner for Auckland City (ATEED) and also as Innovation Advisor to Massey University. His networks and working knowledge of the Local Govt regulatory environment have been invaluable to the project.

ANDREA MAY

Andrea’s long club association dates back to the late 1980s. As a current local business owner and the club’s Sponsorship & Fundraising Co-ordinator, Andrea brings exceptional skills to the project including event management, sales and marketing, as well as community networking and engagement. Andrea is responsible for stewardship of sponsors and supporters related to the redevelopment project and can be contacted on 021 170 1838.

LUKE SENIOR

Luke is a club member and brings 20 years of property development and management experience to the team and is currently the Group General Manager – Property for the Giltrap Group. He has a breadth of technical expertise in a range of property disciplines and sectors, with a focus on project planning and management. He is leading the technical aspect of planning bringing a professional approach and discipline to the project.

TERRY CREAGH

Terry is a successful businessman now retired to Orewa. He has served on two industry boards and held positions on both past and present Boards of several volunteer organisations. He has been involved with sporting, volunteer, governance, finance, marketing and redevelopment projects across the country for a number of different organisations.  He brings important experience in these types of projects to our project.

STEVE FRANICH

Steve is a Life member of the club. He co-owns a medium sized construction company specialising in commercial building. His “hands on” experience of building processes has been invaluable to the project to date.

GWENDA HOLSTER-DOWLER

Gwenda is a long-term Hibiscus Coast resident. Gwenda’s previous experience lies in community based and national fundraising campaigns involving schools, Plunket, Cancer Society and Orewa Sea Scouts. She is actively involved in the local community supporting events and fundraising.
