BUILDING
THE HEART
OF OUR
COMMUNITY.

Orewa Surf Life Saving Club has been proudly serving the community for over 70 years.

Our history is inextricably interwoven with that of the Hibiscus Coast. The beach is a place for everyone to enjoy and our role is to ensure that everyone who comes to the beach returns home safely. Since 1950 we have performed more than 1,200 rescues.

Our lifeguards are on call all year round and respond to a wide range of
emergencies. With a strong family and youth focus we emphasise healthy lifestyles.

Youth development and education, particularly water safety, play a large part in our operations.
The Clubrooms are a community hub and play host to a wide range of sporting and community activities.

Now the Clubrooms are beyond their useful life and no longer fit to support our surf lifesaving operations, community services and youth development programmes, that locals and visitors both need and rely on.

Today, I ask you to envision and support, a future where Orewa Surf Life Saving’s new home will be capable of serving us all as a key part of a growing and vibrant community.

Your investment in our new Surf Life Saving Community Hub will help transform the facilities, enabling us to fulfill our mission to protect the community in the water.

I invite you to join us on this journey towards a safer future for us all.
